The Centre for Advocacy Support and Education for Refugees Inc. (CASE for Refugees) is currently the only community legal centre in Western Australia providing specialist legal assistance to refugees and asylum seekers living in WA. CASE for Refugees assists applicants to apply for Protection Visas and also a Family Reunion Program to reunite familes.

CASE for Refugees has received a grant from the Commonwealth Legal Services Program. Thanks to this grant, CASE has expanded its services and is now able to provide the following:
providing free legal advice, representation and advocacy to the CaLD community of WA. CASE can provide advice on areas of law such as tenancy, understanding contracts, road traffic offences, discrimination, wills and debts. Please follow this link for more information.
delivering community legal education workshops and information sessions to CaLD communities to raise awareness of legal rights and responsibilities. The brochure on the generalist service is at this link.

The centre is committed to working towards the protection and promotion of human rights of refugees and asylum seekers.
The strength of our organisation lies with the solid support of the many volunteers who work in all areas of the organisation.
Volunteers continue to support the work of CASE - with volunteer work in the office registering 243 hrs in May, 184 hrs in June, 219 hrs in July, 274 hrs in August.
